During the Deep Dive for the next WoW Expansion, Ion Hazzikostas announced that Dragon Riding will be enabled in All Zones in Patch 10.2.5. Also, Evoker’s Soar Ability will be a full Dragon Riding Mount.

Ion mentioned that likely in Patch 10.2.5, players will be able to Dragonride in all zones – Eastern Kingdoms, Outlands, Kalimdor, etc.

You’ll be able to toggle between Dragonriding and TBC Flying.

Evoker Soar Ability

In a tweet by Karazaa Senior Gameplay Software Engineer on Warcraft, Blizzard clarified that Dracthyr Soar will become full Dragonriding in Patch 10.2.5 for those who completed the Forbidden Reach Intro questline and unlocked Dragonriding

I should clarify this is happening in 10.2.5 and not 11.0
