First Boss: Kazzara, the Hellforged

Most notable Abilities:
 
Heroic Difficulty:
  • Rays of Anguish must be kited over active  Dread Rifts, otherwise they will follow the fixated player forever and deal damage to all players.
Dread Rifts
Kazzara, the Hellforged will mark few players which will cause them to drop  Dread Rifts after 5 seconds.
 Dread Rifts will explode when dropped, and leave behind  Riftburn, a voidzone that deals damage to players inside of it.
 
 
 
Rays of Anguish
After Dread Rifts expire, each fragment will cause a beam to fixate and follow a nearby player.
The Rays of Anguish leave behind a Molten Scar. Kite the beams away from the raid and avoid kiting it over other players.
 
 
 
Hellbeam
At 100 energy, Kazzara, the Hellforged will face a random direction and channel a frontal attack.
 
 
 
 
Wings of Extinction
Kazzara, the Hellforged frequently thrash her wings, which knocks players back, then deal damage and apply a 20 second dot.
 
 
Hellsteel Carnage
At 80%, 60%, and 40% health, Kazzara, the Hellforged will deal a burst of damage to all players.

Second Boss: The Amalgamation Chamber

Most notable Abilities:
 
Heroic Difficulty:

Shadow Add

Coalescing Void

Coalescing Void will create a mass near the boss, which will draw players in, and explode after a few seconds.

 
 
Umbral Detonation
A few players are marked with a debuff which after 6 seconds explodes to deal damage to players within 8 yards, and drop  Lingering Umbra.

 

Shadows Convergence
Essence of Shadows will summon several orbs around itself, which will converge on its location.

 

 

 

Blaze Add

Fiery Meteor
The Eternal Blaze will call down a meteor in front of itself, requiring at least one player to stand in it.
 
 
 
 
Swirling Flame
 Swirling Flames will be sent in the direction of a random player.
 
 
 
 
Molten Eruption
The Eternal Blaze will summon a few fireballs around itself, which will deal damage to the whole raid unless at least one player stands in each.

 

 

Second Phase – Amalgamation

Gloom Conflagration
A meteor is called down near the boss, which must be soaked by at least 5 players.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Third Boss: The Forgotten Experiments

Most notable Abilities:
  • Few players will be marked with Rending Charge, which will indicate who the boss will charge. Make sure to not stand in its path and spread out. 
  • The  Unstable Essence debuff will always jump to a nearby player, but reset in intensity when it’s dispelled.
  • Players can keep the Temporal Anomaly away from the boss by running into it, which deals damage and knocks it back
 
Heroic Difficulty:   

Phase 1

Rending Charge
A few players will be marked by a debuff, which will indicate who the boss will charge.
The marks players should move to a designated marker near the raid and spread out.
 
 
 
Massive Slam
This is a frontal cone attack that should be dodged.
 
 
 
 
Bellowing Roar
 Bellowing Roar is an area attack which deals falloff damage to the raid.
Move away from the boss while this is cast to reduce the damage taken.

 

Phase 2

Unstable Essence
A permanent debuff will be applied to a random player which grows in intensity over time.
When dispelled, the debuffed player will leave behind a puddle which will explode after a few seconds.

The  Unstable Essence debuff will always jump to a nearby player, but reset in intensity when it’s dispelled.
Each time and  Unstable Essence is dispelled, it will spawn an Erratic Remnant

Erratic Remnants will chain cast  Erratic Burst, which deals raid damage, so they must be killed quickly.
 
Violent Eruption
 Violent Eruption is an 8 second channel which pulses damage to the entire raid.
Erratic Remnants will also echo the damage of the channel, so make sure there are as few alive as possible

 

Phase 3

Deep Breath
Rionthus casts a series of  Deep Breaths across the encounter area.
 
 
 
 
Temporal Anomaly
The boss will summon a  Temporal Anomaly which always drifts towards the boss.
If the  Temporal Anomaly collides with the boss, it will shield it for 10% of it’s maximum health.
 
 
 
Disintegrate
A few players will be fixated and the boss will channel Disintegrate into them.
Targeted players will take damage, be slowed, and pulse damage to other players within 5 yards.

Fourth Boss: Assault of the Zaqali

Most notable Abilities:
  • Magma Mystic will Molten Barrier themself which deals pulsating AoE damage. Flamebound Huntsman will cause players to spawn a voidzone with Blazing Spear. Obsidian Guard deals damage to players within 25 yards with Scorching Roar.
  • In Phase 2, at 100 energy the boss will send out Catastrophic Slam towards the barrier which must be soaked by at least 10 players.
 
Heroic Difficulty:   

Adds

Magma Mystic
These are the highest importance ads to kill.
 Molten Barrier will shield them, pulsing ramping aoe damage. Break it quickly by focusing this add.
 Magma Flow will apply a dot which can be dispelled that deals ticking damage.
 Lava Bolt is an interruptible cast which deals damage to random targets.
 
 
Flamebound Huntsman
These adds will cast  Blazing Spear at random targets.
 Blazing Spear is a simple space-limiting ability which will require the targeted players to move to the edges of the platform to drop their debuffs.
 
 
Obsidian Guard
These adds will channel a quick  Scorching Roar, which deals damage to all players within 25 yards.
Ranged players should try to stay out of this range.
Obsidian Guards gain the  Volcanic Shield ability, which will require players fixated by the frontal attack to face it away.
 
 
Zaqali Wallclimber
These adds will just run towards the barrier, unless attacked or aggroed by players.

 

Warlord Kagni

Devastating Leap
At 100 energy, the boss will leap from one platform to the other, dealing damage to payers in the impact location and sending out a shockwave of lines that need to be dodged.
 
 
Catastrophic Slam
In Phase 2, at 100 energy the boss will send out a shockwave towards the barrier which must be soaked by at least 10 players.
Standing in the shockwave will split the damage with others within in, and reduce the boss’s energy.
If not enough people are in the shockwave, it will trigger a Barrier Backfire.
Being hit by Catastrophic Slam will apply Weakened Vitality.

Fifth Boss: Rashok, the Elder

Most notable Abilities:
  • All players must soak Charged Smash to prevent the Boss from gaining more Energy.
  • Moving Roshak to the center of the room will trigger the  Elder’s Conduit, which drains Roshak of his energy.
 
Heroic Difficulty:   
Searing Slam
 Searing Slam will target a random player and cause the boss to leap to them.
When the target is hit, they will leave behind a  Lava Vortex which periodically shoots out  Lava Waves.
Never overlap a  Searing Slam with an existing  Lava Vortex, because it will wipe the raid.
 
 
 
Doom Flames
Several glowing circles will appear, which will require one person to stand in each.
If there is no one in a circle, the missile will deal its damage to the whole raid instead.
 
 
 
 
Shadowlava Blast
Frontal attack which will kill any players that are hit.
Simply move out of the indicator.
 
 
 
Charged Smash
Rashok will smash the ground, dealing a large amount of split damage.
All players should try and stand in this to split the damage taken. Rashok will gain energy based on the number of players hit.
Being hit by Charged Smash will apply Overcharged, a 30 second dot.
 
 
 
Elder’s Conduit
Moving Roshak to the center of the room will trigger the Elder’s Conduit, which drains Roshak of his energy.
While Rashok’s energy is drained, he will deal damage to the whole raid with Scorching Heatwave.
Shadowflame Fissures will continually emit from the center. Simply dodge them when they appear.
Scorching Heatwave will apply a debuff called Scorched Flesh, which causes each tick to deal increasing damage.
 
 

Sixth Boss: The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn

Most notable Abilities:
  • Position the boss close to the edge of the room so outside Dragonfire Traps are triggered first.
  • Kill the Animate Golems quickly and interrupt them, then use the extra button to extinguish active Traps.
 
Heroic Difficulty:   
  • Several random players gain Unstable Embers which will cause them to pulse damage within 5 yards for 10 seconds.
Dragonfire Traps
Zskarn will activate three nearby traps every 33 seconds.
Zskarn will always activate two close traps to him, and one random one in the room.
 
 
 
Animate Golems
Zskarn will periodically summon three Dragonfire Golems who will attempt to activate new Dragonfire Traps.
These golems will cast Activate Dragonfire Trap, which must be interrupted
Use Salvage Parts on traps which activate around the center of the room.
 
 
 
Blast Wave
Zskarn will cast Blast Wave which deals damage and knocks all players away from the boss.
 
Tactical Destruction
At 100 energy Zskarn will activate the closest dragon statue, which will deal lethal damage to all nearby players.
 
 
 
 
Unstable Embers
Several random targets will gain a debuff which will cause them to pulse damage within 5 yards for 10 seconds.
 

Seventh Boss: Magmorax

Most notable Abilities:
  • Overpowering Stomp is a powerful knockback that deals physical damage to the entire raid
  • Random players will get marked with a debuff, taking ticking damage for 6 seconds, then exploding and dropping a  Magma Puddle.
  • Standing in a  Magma Puddle will cause it to shrink while it applies a stacking  Searing Heat
 
Heroic Difficulty:   
  • Searing Heat will instantly kill players who reach 25 stacks.
Magma Puddle
These are puddles generated by  Molten Spittle or  Lava Ejection that was not intercepted.
Standing in a  Magma Puddle will cause it to shrink while it applies a stacking  Searing Heat debuff to the player. Once all stacks are soaked, the  Magma Puddle disappears.
If the boss ever walks on top of a Magma Puddle it will gain Blazing Tantrum, which gives it 5 energy and causes it to pulse damage to the entire raid.
 
 
Blazing Breath
Magmorax will turn towards a random player and cast Blazing Breath.
 
 
 
 
 
Overpowering Stomp
Overpowering Stomp is a powerful knockback that deals physical damage to the entire raid.
 
 
Igniting Roar
Magmorax will deal a burst of damage to the raid and apply a stack of  Igniting Roar.
Each stack of  Igniting Roar will deal damage to the player, and cannot be reset until the end of the encounter.
