Vengeance Demon Hunter are looking as a great choice for the upcoming expansion Dragonflight. With very unique abilities like Sigil of Silence and Sigil of Chains, Vengeance Demon Hunters pack a lot utility for your group. Demon Hunters 

Their unique debuff grants all magical damage dealers 5% additional damage to enemies struck by the Demon Hunter.

Builds and Talents

General Talent Tree

Most Notable Talents

The Hunt and Collective Anguish are our last row Talents. Felblade and Demonic and Sigil of Flame are in the middle of the Talent Tree. These have the biggest impact in playstyle.

Other Damage Talents

Internal Struggle increases our Mastery, Rush of Chaos reduces the cooldown of Metamorphosis and Unrestrained Fury increases our maximum Fury.

Crowd Control & Utility

Imprison, Sigil of Misery and Chaos Nova are our Crowd Control Talents. Consume Magic increases our overall Utility.

Defensive Talents

Darkness grants a cooldown which can be used by all party members. Will of the Illidari and allocated Talents grant us more Survivability.

Specialization Talent Tree

Single Target Talents
  • Frailty is a debuff that makes you deal 8% more damage and heal for 8% of the damage you deal.
  • Last Resort is your Cheat-Death ability.
  • Soul Barrier grants you an absorption shield.
  • Roaring Fire causes you to heal more with Fel Devastation.
  • Soul Carver has a 1-minute cooldown and grants many Soul Fragments.
  • Painbringer reduces the damage you take by 2% for 5 seconds per Soul Fragment consumed.
  • Fel Flame Fortification reduces magical damage taken during Immolation Aura.
Multi Target Talents
  • Spirit Bomb consumes Soul Fragments and deals all enemies.
  • Sigil of Silence interrupts all spellcast by all enemies affected.
  • Sigil of Chains grips all enemies within 10-yards to the target location.
  • Burning Alive causes your Fiery Brand to spread to nearby enemies.
  • Elysian Decree and Fodder to the Flame cause AoE damage when used. 
  • Stoke the Flames increases your Fel Devastation damage.

Stat Priority

Stat Choice for Vengeance Demon Hunter

General Stat Priority for Vengeance Demon Hunters with our Build is:

  1. Agility
  2. Haste
  3. Versatility
  4. Critical Strike
  5. Mastery

Agility is your primary stat, meaning that Itemlevel is superior in most cases. Higher Itemlevel will also increase your Stamina and Armor that you gain.

Critical Strike increases the chance for your abilities and spells to deal double damage.

Haste reduces your global cooldown, your time to cast spells, and reduces the cooldown of many abilities.

Versatility grants you a flat damage and healing increase, but also a damage decrease for half of its value.

Mastery increases your Armor depending on your Agility. This bonus is doubled during Demon Spikes. Also increases your attack power.

The further we are getting into the expansion, the effects of diminishing returns start to limit your effective gain of your secondary stats. After reaching 30% (by rating) of any given stat, you will start to receive a penalty that reduces the gain from more of the same stat over this treshold.

Stat priority can differ on every character. Make sure to simulate yourself on Raidbots get the perfect results for you.
