Welcome to the Season 3 Guide for Preservation Evoker in Patch 10.2 – Guardians of the Dream. We will help you to learn and master Preservation Evoker in either Raids or Mythic Keystone Dungeons.

Stat Priority
General Stat Priority for Preservation Evoker with our Build is:
- Intellect
- Mastery
- Critical Strike = Haste
- Versatility
Best Embellishments
- Undulating Sporecloak
- Adaptive Dracothyst Armguards
- Acidic Hailstone Treads
- Elemental Lariat if the players has many Socket Slots on their Items to increase the duration of its effect
Changes in Season 3
Season 3 has introduced many Class Changes, aswell as a new Tier Set, new Embellishments and more.
Preservation
- Living Flame healing increased by 20 percent.
- Verdant Embrace healing increased by 35 percent.
- Resonating Sphere applies Echo to the first three allies it hits (was five).
- Cycle of Life now accumulates 10 percent (was 15 percent) of your healing over eight seconds (was 10 seconds).
- Spiritbloom healing increase has been reverted (was increased by 25 percent).
- Rewind recovers 33 percent of damage taken in the last five seconds (was 40 percent).
- Fluttering Seedlings no longer occur from Emerald Blossoms that are triggered from Echo.
- Fluttering Seedlings healing has been increased by 20 percent.
Stat Priority in Patch 10.2
General Stat Priority for Preservation Evoker with our Build is:
- Intellect
- Mastery
- Critical Strike = Haste
- Versatility
- Intellect is your primary stat, meaning that Itemlevel is superior in most cases. Higher Itemlevel will also increase your Stamina and Armor that you gain.
- Critical Strike increases the chance for your abilities and spells to deal double damage.
- Haste reduces your global cooldown, your time to cast spells, and reduces the cooldown of many abilities.
- Versatility grants you a flat damage increase, but also a damage decrease for half of its value.
- Mastery increases your healing whenever your target has lower health then yourself.
The further we are getting into the expansion, the effects of diminishing returns start to limit your effective gain of your secondary stats. After reaching 30% (by rating) of any given stat, you will start to receive a penalty that reduces the gain from more of the same stat over this treshold.

Regarding the Stat Priority listed above, we currently suggest using the following Sockets in your Gear. Keep in mind that using Elemental Lariat will always trigger the lower-valued stat of your Gems. If you want to trigger the desired stat, you have use the opposite Gem at least once in your Gear.
