Seismic Trap Assassin League Starter Build Guide

In Path of Exile: Crucible, you’ll learn about the ancient titans who once shaped the primordial surface of Wraeclast. If you’re powerful enough, you will earn the ability to forge their power onto your weapons. Crucible Forges are scattered throughout Wraeclast. When you find one, select one of your weapons and channel the power of the ancient titans to spawn a challenging encounter. The longer you channel for, the more the molten monsters merge together to form more fearsome foes. You’re in control of the difficulty and reward of these encounters.

Path of Exile 3.21 – Crucible

In Path of Exile: Crucible, you’ll learn about the ancient titans who once shaped the primordial surface of Wraeclast. If you’re powerful enough, you will earn the ability to forge their power onto your weapons. Crucible Forges are scattered throughout Wraeclast. When you find one, select one of your weapons and channel the power of the ancient titans to spawn a challenging encounter. The longer you channel for, the more the molten monsters merge together to form more fearsome foes. You’re in control of the difficulty and reward of these encounters.

Seismic Trap Assassin

The Seismic Trap Assassin throws Traps to deal damage to their enemies. Seismic Traps lasts for 4 seconds, and releases a wave of damage every second. In the meantime, you will use another Trap – either Exsanguinate or Blade Trap – to deal damage to your enemies. Otherwise, this Build focuses a lot on your Survivability and allows you a smooth playstyle with almost only 2 alternating buttons. With Patch 3.21, Poisons have received a strong nerf, alongside with the Saboteur Ascendancy. Additionally, some Mana Reservation Efficiencies have been removed, leading to Assassin as the new alternative to the usual Saboteur. 

Rotation

  • Activate Auras: Skitterbots – Determination – Grace – Defiance Banner
  • Apply Withering Step on Cooldown
  • Use Shield Charge to Curse Enemies with Temporal Chains and Despair
  • Use Seismic Trap 
  • Activate Malevolence
  • Use Blade Trap or Exsanguinate as Filler
  • Use Shield Charge for movement, Flame Dash to move over obsticales

Leveling - Bandits

In order to be able to play this Build, you have to choose a Shadow in the Character Creation.

Before you reach the Endgame, players have to finish all 10 Acts of the Campaign. Most of the times, you will not be able to use the same abilities in the early game as you do in the Endgame. Here is an overview how you can progress easily throughout the Campaign. In this List, you will find all Gems to use in the Early Game, and To-Do Lists for all Act 1 – 10.

Talents - Ascendancy - Pantheon

Talent Masteries: 

  • 8% Increased Damage for each of your Aura or Herald Skills affecting you
  • 15% increased Duration of Ailments on Enemies/15% increased Skill effect Duration
  • +50 to maximum Life
  • Poisons you inflict deal Damage 20% faster
  • Auras from your Skills have 10% increased Effect on you
  • 10% more Skill Effect duration
  • Corrupted Blood cannot be inflicted on you

Ascendancy

Ascendancys are Spezializations of your Character, which are granted after solving the Trial of Ascendancys. There are 4 Trials that will reward these unique Talent Points.

  • After 1st Trial of Ascendancy: Skill Noxious Strike
  • After 2nd Trial of Ascendancy: Skill Toxic Delivery
  • After 3rd Trial of Ascendancy: Skill Ambush and Assassinate
  • After 4th Trial of Ascendancy: Skill Mistwalker

Pantheon

Pantheon (Hotkey: Y) grant Players passive bonuses. You can change them at any time, but you also have to unlock more passives by using a Divine Vessel with the specific Map in your Map Device.

  • Major Pantheon: Soul of the Brine King
  • Minor Pantheon: Soul of Shakari
