Check out the full League Summary for Patch 3.23 here.
In order to be able to play this Build, you have to choose a Ranger in the Character Creation.
Before you reach the Endgame, players have to finish all 10 Acts of the Campaign. Most of the times, you will not be able to use the same abilities in the early game as you do in the Endgame. Here is an overview how you can progress easily throughout the Campaign. In this List, you will find all Gems to use in the Early Game, and To-Do Lists for all Quests and Trials in Act 1 – 10.
For even further Leveling advice, check out our Leveling Guide here.
In Act 2, Players are tasked to kill three Bosses, Oak, Kraityn and Alira. You can either “Help” or “Kill” them, whenever you engage with them. You can “Help” only one of them, or kill them all. This Quest will grant Players a Bonus for their Character Power, depending on their choice. This choice can be changed later on if you made a mistake.
In our Build, we kill all Bandits.
Unchanged
Our Leveling Talent Tree focuses on utilizing the Gems being used early into the Campaign, often times changing as soon Players finish Act 10.
During the Campaign, Players can receive up to 20 Regret Points, which our Leveling Talent Tree will not exceed whenever changing to the Early Maps / Midgame Talent Tree.
After completing the Campaign, Players can start utilizing a more in-depth Talent Tree, focusing on their new Abilities and Gear that they want to obtain during this time.
Upon reaching higher Levels, we are using more Jewel Slots and even Cluster Jewels to increase our damage. This often requires to unallocate previously skilled Talents to gain the needed amount of Passive Skills.
Our Talent Tree will not exceed Level 95. This is to ensure that its a rather achievable goal after several days.
If players are reaching a higher Level then 95, more Jewel Sockets are a preferable way to use the remaining Passive Skills.
The Gear for Early Maps focuses strongly on high Resistances, which players are receiving a penalty after completing Act 10.
Sometimes, especially our Advanced Builds, will require certain Gear to function in a proper way.
Early Map Gear also does not require expensive Crafts / Annoints or more then lower Eldritch Implicits.
Late Game Gear does not require very expensive Items, but are still rather achievable with some higher Investment.
Annoints and Crafts might already include some more expensive materials like Golden Oil, or Master Crafts.
These Items are something to aspire to upon reaching high Maps and a stable playstyle.
This list includes all desirable Skill & Support Gems. ‘Awakened Gems’ can be freely equipped aswell, but are not included in this list. The Support Gems are listed in order, with the most important ones in the top. Replacements for certain Gems until Players obtain them can be found in the right column.
The Atlas Talent Tree can alter your game experience heavily. This Tree is designed to empower and direct certain League Mechanics towards your personal preference. Beware that the suggested Talent Tree works pretty well with the current Build, but this may differ for each individual player. Take this Suggestion with caution!
This Passive Tree focuses on Wandering Path and an Increased Chance to Drop Adjacent Maps, allowing players to progress into higher Tier Maps fast. This Tree does not include any other League Mechanics which should be chosen on players preference.
You can either use Lifetap or a Mana Mastery with Reduced Mana Cost of Skills until you get a Flask with the crafted Suffix “Reduced Mana Cost of Skills during Effect” and crafted reduced mana costs on Amulet / Ring.
Make sure you keep your Divine Blessing on Level 1 for lower Mana Costs, and if needed, use a Jade Flask and dont use Divine Blessing at all.
Beware that you want to use Lifetap on Frenzy aswell if you use it on Toxic Rain.
Exactly 39%. You get 20% by the Bow Mastery, 9% on Gloves crafted, and another 10% on Helmet per Eldritch Implicit.
Use Damage on Full Life instead. Dont worry about the crafted Bow, its not worth switching the Craft for it. You will get Empower eventually.
Even with an Enlighten Gem, you need a Helmet with Mana Reservation Efficiency. You need to use Essence of Loathing to craft your Helmet. Preferably, use a Base with fractured Spell Suppression if you have the Budget.

We want to keep our League Starter Guides as simple as possible. We understand that using Path of Building and other 3rd Party Tools might not be the best way for New Players.
