Beginning September 6, 2019, The Pokémon Company International entered a three-year partnership with the English Football Association as part of a drive to increase participation in the sport of Futsal across the country. For the 2019-20 season, selected schools and clubs that signed up to The FA Pokémon Youth Futsal Programme received exclusive Pokémon bundles containing equipment and accessories for use in matches.
