Upcoming Nerfs to Ruby Life Pools – Dragonflight Season 1 Hotfix January 10th

With the next Weekly Reset on January 10th, Blizzard is going to further adjust Ruby Life Pools, to bring it more in line with other Dungeons. Read more..

The latest Hotfix from January 10th is going to be Live with the next Weekly Reset. This Hotfix includes Class Tunings with many Buffs to Classes like Demon Hunter and Shadow Priests, but also Nerfs to Outlaw Rogues.

Blizzard has posted their official Patch Notes, which also now include changes to Ruby Life Pools. This dungeons has been currently considered one of the hardest available Dungeons in Dragonflight Season 1. In order to adjust it’s difficulty, Blizzard has already been tuning Ruby Life Pools in previous Hotfixes.

- [With weekly restarts] Reduced the damage of triggering a Hailbomb by 40%.
- [With weekly restarts] Reduced party-wide AoE damage on the initial cast of Hailbombs by 66%
  - Developers’ note: The initial on-cast hit from Hailbombs was never intended to be a large source of damage, and when scaled up on Mythic+ it is contributing more damage to the fight than we’d like, so we’re reining it in to give healers more breathing room to recover from Melidrussa’s other abilities.
