Greatly Increased Drop Chance for World Boss Mounts
Some of the most rarest mounts in World of Warcraft have received a significant increase in Drop Chance. Blizzard has announced that five mounts now have a greatly increased Drop Chance due to a previous bug which caused Evokers to loot these mounts very easily.
Previously this week, Evokers had an incredibly high chance to loot these rare mounts. This has been now fixed, but many players have now earned these mounts. Blizzard’s solution to this was to equal the chances for all players, and increasing the chance for these mounts significantly, for ever.

The drop chances for Son of Galleon’s Saddle, Reins of the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent, Reins of the Cobalt Primordial Direhorn, Reins of the Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent, and Solar Spirehawk have been greatly increased.
The rare World Boss mounts that have had their drop chance increased are:
- Reins of the Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent drops from Sha of Anger
- Son of Galleon’s Saddle drops from Galleon
- Reins of the Cobalt Primordial Direhorn drops from Oondasta
- Reins of the Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent drops from Nalak
- Solar Spirehawk drops from Rukhmar
